Job Role: Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Wetherby

Salary: Negotiable on skills and experience

As an Electrical Design Engineer your remit will include:

The Electrical Design Engineer will contribute towards the development of a next generation automation machines. Your skills are likely to have been through developing automation or special purpose machines for the world market, experience of designing CE compliant systems to BS EN 13849 & BS EN 60204 is an advantage with an understanding of UL being useful.

You will be able to provide a high level of electrical design output through a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements.

In addition to this you will continuously apply innovative thought to ensure the company's electrical design services offer maximum value to our customers;

Provide a high level of commercial awareness to ensure design solutions are delivered in the most cost effective manner and scope changes are managed in accordance with the company's standard operating procedures;

Ensure schedules are understood and workload is managed so that deliveries are met;

Ensure electrical design output is in line with the company's standard operating procedures and relevant regulatory requirements;

What you will bring to the company:

1. Apprentice trained in electrical or mechatronic engineering.

2. HNC, HND, or BSC in a relevant engineering discipline and post graduate design experience.

3. Proficient in the use of electrical design software.

4. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.

5. Sound interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to prioritise work within tight timescales.
