Position Highlights:
As an Applications Engineer, you'll be a critical player in the intersection of technology and client solutions. Under the guidance of the Application & Support Manager, you'll engage in various tasks, including pre-sales, project engineering, aftersales support, and technical training.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-sales:
Develop innovative concepts and solutions tailored to clients' needs.
Collaborate with the Sales Team to refine solution specifics.
Assess technical feasibility and communicate effectively with clients.
Cultivate trust-based relationships with clients, fostering their confidence in our solutions.
Project Engineering:
Analyze project feasibility and outline functional specifications.
Budget engineering costs and drive project innovation.
Provide on-site support during solution commissioning.
Contribute to software development and maintenance.
Ensure seamless project handover and acceptance by clients.
After Sales:
Offer telephone and onsite support for technical inquiries.
Swiftly troubleshoot and resolve client technical issues.
Technical Training:
Plan and execute internal and external client training sessions.
General:
Collaborate across departments to drive seamless coordination.
Contribute to international initiatives that expand our client's opportunities.
Identify client needs and provide strategic recommendations.
Report leads using client tools.
Spearhead product improvements and innovations to enhance client experience.
Uphold client's processes and guidelines.
Fill in for absent colleagues in the application team.
Foster a positive work environment and champion customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
Possess a Bachelor's degree in a technical field (HBO level) with expertise within Industrial Automation.
Proficient in MS Office and programming languages.
Demonstrated experience with Industrial Automation tools.
Effective communication
