We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transport Planning Engineer on behalf of our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing transportation planning and engineering expertise to clients and project teams.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct transportation planning studies and analyses, including traffic impact assessments, parking studies, and transportation demand management plans
- Develop and review transportation-related policies, standards, and guidelines
- Collaborate with project teams and clients to develop transportation solutions that are safe, sustainable, and efficient
- Provide technical expertise in transportation planning and engineering to support project teams
- Develop and maintain transportation models and simulations
- Prepare and present reports and presentations on transportation planning and engineering topics
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in transportation planning and engineering
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in transportation planning and engineering
- Professional Engineer (PrEng)
- Proficient in transportation planning and engineering software, including Civil3D, Civil Designer, BIM360, Roadmate, TechnoCAD and Revit
- Strong understanding of transportation policies, standards, and guidelines
- Ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and clients
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
