As a automation Engineer you will design, develop, and maintain innovative control systems and software solutions. As a key member of the engineering team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of my client's projects.

Responsibilities:

System Design:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design control system solutions using Beckhoff hardware and TwinCAT software.

Software Development:

  • Develop, test, and debug software applications for industrial automation and control systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.

Programming:

  • PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) code using TwinCAT to control and monitor machinery and processes.

Integration:

  • Integrate Beckhoff hardware components with existing systems and third-party devices, ensuring seamless operation.

Troubleshooting:

  • Identify and resolve technical issues, malfunctions, and system failures in a timely manner.

Documentation:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and test procedures.

Testing and Validation:

  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of software and control systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with project managers, electrical engineers, and other team members to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with Beckhoff hardware and TwinCAT software development.
  • Strong programming skills in IEC 61131-3 languages (ST, FBD, LD, etc.).
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherCAT, OPC UA).
  • Knowledge of PLC programming best practices and industrial automation standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
