Responsibilities:
System Design:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design control system solutions using Beckhoff hardware and TwinCAT software.
Software Development:
- Develop, test, and debug software applications for industrial automation and control systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Programming:
- PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) code using TwinCAT to control and monitor machinery and processes.
Integration:
- Integrate Beckhoff hardware components with existing systems and third-party devices, ensuring seamless operation.
Troubleshooting:
- Identify and resolve technical issues, malfunctions, and system failures in a timely manner.
Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and test procedures.
Testing and Validation:
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of software and control systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers, electrical engineers, and other team members to ensure successful project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Beckhoff hardware and TwinCAT software development.
- Strong programming skills in IEC 61131-3 languages (ST, FBD, LD, etc.).
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherCAT, OPC UA).
- Knowledge of PLC programming best practices and industrial automation standards.
