Commissioning engineer

My client has successfully deployed over 30,000 systems in industrial water treatment, wastewater treatment, and water recovery. They are a global leader in plant manufacturing, emphasizing innovative German-engineered technology and maintaining a strong worldwide presence.


Your tasks are:

  • Process engineering commissioning of individual plants or complex lines until proof of performance according to contract at home and abroad
  • Parameterization of field devices, signal and function test with the automation engineer including the required documentation
  • Representation of the company to our national and international customers
  • Driving the continuous improvement process through meaningful field reports
  • Conducting theoretical and practical trainings at our customers' sites


You bring with you:

  • Technical training in process or environmental engineering (preferably technician m/f/d) or comparable qualifications. Alternatively, a degree in process engineering, environmental engineering, chemical engineering.
  • Experience in the commissioning of industrial water treatment plants with membrane technology / ion exchangers ion exchangers and/or with biological processes for wastewater treatment
  • Basic knowledge of measurement, control and regulation technology
  • Manual skills and knowledge in the use of tools
  • Ability to work in a team, initiative and assertiveness
  • Open-mindedness towards other cultures
  • Good to very good written and spoken English skills are required. Further knowledge in another foreign language would be an advantage
  • Confident handling of MS Office
  • Driving license class 3 or B
  • Mobility and willingness to travel worldwide
