Working with a leading UK utilities business, we have a current opportunity for a Environmental Specialist on a Fixed-Term contract of 7 months. The position will be based in the UK, with remote option, but travel to the office in Coventry is required as a minimum of 1 day per week.
For this position we are looking for an experienced Environmental professional with a proven background in overseeing Environmental Management Systems, legislation compliance and stakeholder engagement/management.
The role is very much for an experienced hire who can step into the business and hit the ground running; minimal training, a seemless transition. What you'll bring is a strong background in permits and legislation, principles of environmental management to ISO14001 standards and auditing management system standards.
