Job Purpose:
Our client, a leading energy and infrastructure conglomerate, with presence in more than 10 countries in Asia, is actively on the search for a Group Chief Financial Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall financial management of the Group
- Develop and implement sound financial strategies to support the Group's businesses
- Evaluate and identify commercial, financial and economic risks from business propositions undertaken by the Group
- Ensure and maintain adequate risk management and mitigation of the Group's investments and businesses
- Ensure accuracy of financial reporting of Annual Reports and announcements to Bursa and full regulatory compliance
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support the Group Managing Director and Senior Management of the Group
- Lead critical financial initiatives to support the organisational goals and objectives
- Develop and implement funding strategies for the organisation
- Set and drive the sustainability strategies to deliver a sustainable financial outcomes and long term value creation
- Lead the Investor Relations charter to all stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelors and masters degree in accounting or other related field of studies with a professional finance qualification (e.g. ACCA or CIMA)
- Certified accountant with at least 10 to 15 years of experience in the capacity of a Chief Financial Officer in medium to large corporations
- Strong leadership, communication and work ethics capabilities with prior track record of FX management
