IT Service Manager France and UK
Location: Swindon, UK
The role is to cover France but will be based out of Swindon head office with flexible working.

The IT Service Manager (ITSM) plays a vital role in ensuring smooth service operations & service continuity to 70 locations worldwide comprising of over 3500 employees. The ITSM is responsible for establishing and maintaining trustful relationships between the business and IT. To achieve robust service provision and enable continuous service improvement the ITSM must align with internal and external teams. In this role you will have a focus on the management of ITSM topics in a newly integrated leg of the renewable business in France (Paris) but will not be limited to this region only.
Ensuring the business requirements match those of the IT provision
Adherence to ITIL best practice for IT Change, MI, Incident, Request & Problem Management
Managing the provision and providing support of IT infrastructure topics e.g. Site setups, moves or closures,
Point of contact for the management of IT escalations and resolutions
Monitoring and challenging Service Level Agreements
Ensuring quality of end user computing meets the expected level
Lead/contribute towards successful transitions of IT service providers
Business adherence to IT security policy.
In-depth knowledge and experience of ITIL Service Management functions including: Major Incidents and Problem Management, Change & Release Management, Request Fulfilment, IT Service Continuity
Sound knowledge of IT infrastructure including data centre, networks and cloud
Producing and performing Service Reviews with the business
Excellent stakeholder management skills, ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all levels
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English and French
Ability to take complex, multi-faceted problems and work with them through to solution recognising commercial commitments and options
