Junior GIS Consultant

We are seeking a Junior GIS (Geographic Information System) professional to join our team in the Renewables & Environment industry. As a Junior GIS, you will play a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and visualizing spatial data to support our projects aimed at promoting a sustainable future. The ideal candidate will have a passion for renewable energy and a strong technical background in GIS technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of spatial databases for various renewable energy projects.
• Conduct spatial analysis to identify suitable locations for renewable energy installations.
• Perform data integration and manipulation to ensure accurate and up-to-date information in the GIS databases.
• Create maps, charts, and other visual representations of geospatial data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide GIS support and deliver spatial data products.
• Generate reports and presentations to communicate GIS analysis and findings.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and continuously develop GIS skills and knowledge.

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Esri ArcGIS software suite.
• Proficiency in spatial database management and data querying.
• Experience in conducting spatial analysis using GIS tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and environmental considerations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
