Planner/Offshore Installation
Job Summary:
The Offshore Installation Manager/Planner will be coordinating the installation of the offshore assets, will be planning, when different activities will have to take place to optimize the overall schedule, will furthermore help plan the miscellaneous minor tasks to ensure inspection regimes are kept, with the minimal impact on the overall schedule, will have to plan the following days tasks based on the current progress. In case of conflict, the most optimal solution should be discussion and decided with the on-duty site manager, will have a very close cooperation with the site manager, installation managers for the different contractors and offshore contractors.
Job Duties:
Day to day planning of offshore activities.
Ensure activities are properly prepared by checking approval stage of Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
Mid- and long-term planning to identify any offshore conflicts in the installation programme and how to mitigate these.
Ensure offshore conflicts are kept to a minimum.
Keep project planners and other stakeholders updated on progress and anticipated programme.
Ensure that miscellaneous tasks not connected to the major installation activities are performed in due time and with minimal impact.
Job Requirements (Skills, knowledge, experience, education):
Is required to be able to keep the overview in environments with a lot of moving parts and changes.
Needs to be effective in the Microsoft Office Package and a planning tool, preferably Primavera P6.
Needs to have experience in a similar role, offshore environment would be highly preferred.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
