Offshore Service Technicians (Electrical & Mechanical)

EarthStream Global are a leading Renewable Energy recruitment business, partnering with globally recognised Developers/Asset Owners and the subsequent supply chain to provide exceptional talent to their projects.

We are currently working with a leading Offshore Wind Project Engineering business and have been awarded a substantial project demand for 2023 and beyond. We are looking for experienced Offshore Service Technicians with either a strong Electrical or Mechanical background, to join their platform teams on the service of major Offshore Substations.

The role will involve Maintenance and servicing of offshore platforms (wind energy) in the North Sea - depending on qualifications in the areas of electronics, mechanics, automation, HVAC or fire alarm and fire extinguishing technology. Maintenance and inspection of main, auxiliary, and secondary systems and troubleshooting, if necessary.

You will be working on a 14/14 rotation, 12 hour shifts, with PPE, accommodation and food all provided.

To be considered, successful applicants will need:

- Full GWO training, including First Aid, Sea Survival, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness and Working at Heights, as well as a valid Offshore Medical. However, please note, if any of your certifications have lapsed, our client are happy to facilitate/fund your training ONLY if you are interested in a permanent position with them.
- Proven Offshore Service & Maintenance experience, ideally on Substation Platforms.
- Strong Electrical or Mechanical background in the offshore wind sector
- Basic German language skills are desirable.
