Our client is a leading international mining company with operations in Mozambique, they are in search of a Project Finance Manager to join their team on-site at the mining facility. With a strong commitment to sustainable practices and community engagement, our client is at the forefront of responsible mining, and we are looking for a finance leader who shares their vision. The rotation for this role is 8 weeks on site and 3 weeks off!

Position: Project Finance Manager - Mozambique (On Site)

Location: Mozambique (On Site) Mozambican Nationals Only

Qualifications: (ACCA, CIMA, CA)

A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience of which 5 years is within a similar role

Mining industry experience (Not negotiable)

Skills: Excellent English and Portuguese verbal skills

Computer literacy

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Produce management accounts and statutory accounts
  • Monthly review of GL reconciliations
  • Inventory tracking
  • Invoicing to third parties
  • Compliance
  • Adhoc accounting and operational functions
