Propulsion Systems Integration Senior Engineer.
Bachelor’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering, a related curriculum, or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
Minimum 7 years broad engineering experience in other aircraft technical disciplines. Must be familiar with:
- General understanding of the Configuration Control
- Quality management for engineering activity
- Ability to work with a global team with a variety of cultures and key project stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and impeccable follow through
Statement of Work
APU/Tailcone/Propulsion Systems Integration Senior Engineer, Propulsion group, Mechanical Systems Department, Engineering Division.
He/She will take the leadership of APU/Tailcone/Propulsion in the capacity of Senior Engineer. This will include supplier management and interfacing with all other aircraft functions to coordinate and obtain the approval of any task assigned contributing to the aircraft certification.

APU/Tailcone or Propulsion team leader
3. Work Location:
The primary work location will be in Nagoya, Japan. However, engineers maybe requested to travel to Seattle or Moses Lake (Washington State, USA) where aircraft flight testing is performed. It may also be requested to travel to systems supplier sites to manage systems engineering and/or project activities.
4. Scope of Work:
(1) He/she will work as a Senior Engineer in the Propulsion Group
(2) Basic work scope is to take the leadership of systems integration of our client's systems - APU/Tailcone/Propulsion including supplier management, and to obtain data to show compliance to all applicable Requirements
(3) This activity includes;
(a) Day by day follow up to stakeholders to keep deliverable schedule
(b) Evaluating and improving the current APU/Tailcone/Propulsion design, with respect to certification requirements of JCAB, FAA and EASA
(c) Drive the Tailcone/APU/Propulsion system suppliers
(d) Presenting and discussing the Safety of Flight and Design Evolution and Maturity with the Flight Operations Group and Transport Authorities.
(d) Supporting verification and showing-compliance activities, such as Problem Reports (PR), Design Reviews, Inspections, Analysis, etc.
(4) All tasks required to perform above activities are considered within work scope; initiating/ reviewing related documents, technical calculation, interface discussion with the team members and all the other stakeholders including systems, structures, manufacturing, customer support, and partners.
(5) Education of clients members about professional knowledge in the APU- Tail Cone development, certification and analysis.
(6) Provide expertize and systematic management to resolve the system challenges raised during any design review, rig testing or Flight testing.
(7) Other activities requested by your supervisor or IPT leaders
