Regional Sales Manger

We have an exciting GM Sales role!
The General Manager Sales will head up the business in all aspects of sales, primarily focused on increasing contracted revenue. This role boasts both strategic and operational responsibilities. The incumbent will be expected to be heavily involved in defining and driving the business' South African sales strategy and the overall leadership of the sales team. The upward reporting line would be to the group sales director with dotted line to CEO/GM.
The roles main requirements are:
- Relevant qualification (Sales, marketing, business etc) and professional training/ certification in sales and Marketing (CSMP, CIM etc)
- At least ten (10) years experience in a similar role with five (5) of those at a senior management level.
- Ideal industry experience would be Telecoms or Data Centers. Other relevant industry experience would be e-commerce, software, finance etc.
- An established network in the telecoms & Enterprise space is a major plus.
- Emerging markets experience is needed, ideally (but not essential) experience working and living in Nigeria (one of the largest markets the business works in).
- The ideal candidate would be an EE South African Female.
