Salary: £40,000 - £65,000 pa
As a Senior/Lead Control Systems Software Engineer your remit will include:
We are looking for enthusiastic & experienced engineers to join our clients existing Energy team to perform all aspects software design, development and implementation for PLC based control systems. The role will require the successful candidate to lead projects in the delivery of PLC and SCADA/DCS systems primarily in the Thermal, Hydro and Wind power generation systems. Projects included upgrades to latest versions and virtualisation applications, process improvements and modifications as well as 'greenfield" projects requiring the complete software development lifecycle; design, coding, testing, install and commissioning. The candidate should have proven main-stream control automation experience across several previous projects utilising the technology platforms listed below and developing Structured code to IEC 61131 pt3.
What you will bring to the company:
- Minimum 5 years experience using at least one of the following technologies:-
- Siemens PCS7 v8.0 or greater within medium / large DCS
- Siemens TIA Portal (S7400/300)
- Rockwelll Control logix
- Schneider M580/M340 & Unity Pro
- Siemens WinCC
- Rockwell FactoryTalk
- Panorama
- Citect
- Profibus/Profinet, Ethernet etc
- Knowledge of project lifecycle working to QA procedures
- Willingness to travel and work away when required
- Full UK Driving licence
