Senior Technical Advisor

Location: UK or Ireland


Provide technical due diligence and other advisory services to our UK and European clients.


Main Tasks & Responsibilities


* Execute activities related to design, analysis, technical due diligence, and advisory projects, with emphasis on interdisciplinary thinking and approach
* Lead, manage and contribute to projects, acting as the main point of contact for clients as well as coordinating workstreams internally
* Financial budget control and reporting of assigned projects


ROLE PROFILE


* Prepare, negotiate, and deliver proposals and contracts in conjunction with the business development team and the client
* Contribute to thought leadership, internal processes and tools, and development of new service offerings in your field
* Occasional travel within Europe as part of project delivery, for client meetings, or to attend events

Education & Qualifications
* Educated to degree level in a relevant engineering or technical discipline (i.e. STEM subjects)
Specialist Knowledge and Skills
* Significant knowledge of solar PV technology, development and construction processes
* Excellent report writing skills, high command of English and strong communication skills
* Flexible approach to manage tasks concurrently and handle short order pieces of work
* Ability to work collaboratively and assimilate information from several technical disciplines


Relevant experience
* Experience in managing complex projects and being accountable to external stakeholders
* Experience of working in a solar PV development, investment, construction or operations
