Site Assistant

Job Description

We have a current opportunity for a Site Assistant on a contract basis. The position will be based in Taipei City. For further information about this position please apply.

This is an opportunity to work with one of the largest renewable energy company in the world with presence in Taiwan, South Korea, Japan and Vietnam.

Responsibilities

  • Provide business and administrative support to sites and other Administration for daily operations, including creating and running regular reports (consumption, availability, production, safety, etc.) assist with compiling data for budgets; travel arrangements. Quoting for customer work, Training New Administrator

  • Assists in the management of OH&S and ERP activities on-site and assure the site is compliant with local and Vestas guidelines, and site inductions, take corrective actions on external audits and incidents, update safety documents held on-site

  • Assist Site Supervisor in daily operations, Supervise Costs and Coding of Credit Card Transactions, Create PR/PO's, Order & staff equipment, Office Supplies, assist with Site Safety Reporting, Training and ordering of supplies, Document Control, Create and monitor purchase orders/requests, International shipping & receiving and accounting functions pertaining to parts/materials/tools/IT Equipment

  • Handle Inventory which includes two full-year inventory counts & one tool count per site

  • Adhere to all released planning processes and assist maximize planning performance. Maintain planning grid to accurately reflect all actual technician/turbine work performed at sites and maintain forecasts, and planned work to ensure focused and cost-efficient labor, material, and asset (crane, tools) results. Close and technically complete service orders as work are completed

  • Responsible for ensuring site compliance to approved processes; providing SAP fundamental instruction and assisting with system problem solving and error processing

  • Enter and monitor data and oversee site data integrity as measured by performance to key Process Performance Indicators (PPIs). Identify and provide recommendations for planning and SAP process changes to enhance service operational and turbine performance

  • Able to effectively collaborate with employees at all professional levels performs as a supporter of change management initiatives and the ability to respectfully follow supervision

  • Professional computer operation skills, familiarity with internet-based program navigation, and ability to generate and interpret computer data

Competencies

  • Ability to read, comprehend and write in English

  • Ability to effectively participate in all training courses

  • Comfort working remotely with limited supervisory interaction
