Develop and implement policies related to the workshops.
Prepare the budget for the workshop and monitor budgets adopted by the managing director.
Develop the workshop (such as policy, investment (within mandate) in machinery/production equipment and personnel expansions).
Maintain a network of existing customers and expand as much as possible.
Set tariffs to be applied for work to be done, prepare the offers or request the workshop administration to prepare the offer for clients
Plan and coordinate the work (often ad hoc) - in consultation with the Foreman WRS, Foreman FRS and workshop administration - and hire temporary staff or outsource work as necessary
Monitor planning and intervene when necessary
Responsible the procurement of parts needed for work to be done.
Responsible to monitor planning, priorities, spare parts and outstanding offers and intervene when possible
Ensure optimal customer relations
Develop and roll out of business/growth plan
Stimulate, motivate, instruct and provide assistance for employees.
Responsible for hiring, training, education and qualifications of employees in consultation with Human Resources Manager.
Monitor health and safety, environmental, quality and safety compliance
Graduate from Senior High School or graduate from apprentice training or diploma in engineering
Very good knowledge of diesel engines (2-stroke and 4-stroke)
Fluent in spoken and written Dutch and English, additional foreign language are advantageous.
