Tender and Project Purchasing Manager

Earthstream are currently looking for a 'Tender and Project Purchasing Manager' to assist a project. This is for an immediate start so an EU passport/Work permit is required for this opportunity. You will be part of this new department within the Purchasing Organization and will be responsible for managing and coordinating all Subcontracting (purchasing) related activities in the client tender phase until an execution team has been appointed. Being a team player and collaborating with other Purchasing functions and internal stakeholders, you will ensure the implementation of subcontracting strategies and full ownership of your tenders.

Key responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Develop the costing and procurement plan of the Tenders you have been allocated
  • Act as single point of contact (Key Account Managers) for main subcontractors
  • Handle 2 - 3 tenders / subcontracts simultaneously
  • Work on establishing relationships through arranging regular management meetings between companies with in the background the follow-up of the subcontractor's performance in the project execution but also prospective opportunities (framework agreements, JVs, Consortium, etc.) linked to the clients subcontracted scopes across tenders and projects
  • Together with Sales and Tender as well as Installation department consider partnerships, JVs and other forms of collaboration with main subcontractors to secure G&T's tender's risk and profitability profiles.
  • Have the responsibility of the large subcontracts to be dealt with at tender stage until LOI or subcontract signature, or until handover to Project Execution

Requirements (but not limited to):

  • extensive experience in large contract negotiations in complex environment from project development to execution.
  • You have worked in companies that are project driven, with activities related to Marine Operations and/or Civil Works. You have experience working domestically or internationally.
  • Experience related to interconnectors, windfarms, or power from shore
  • Master degree in Engineering , Business or Supply Chain
  • 5 years of relevant EPC/EPCI and subcontract management experience.
  • Fluent in English, - oral and written, Norwegian is a plus.
