Position Overview: The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy to drive revenue growth, maximize profitability, and enhance market competitiveness in the LNG industry. The CCO will oversee all aspects of commercial operations, including sales, marketing, business development, and customer relations, with a focus on delivering exceptional value to our customers and driving sustainable growth for the company.
Key Responsibilities:


  1. Commercial Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
    • Identify market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities to drive business growth and expansion in the LNG sector.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative commercial solutions and offerings that meet the evolving needs of our customers and stakeholders.

  2. Sales and Marketing Leadership:
    • Lead the sales and marketing teams to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets in the LNG market.
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets, expand customer base, and increase market share.
    • Oversee marketing initiatives, including branding, advertising, and promotional activities, to enhance market visibility and customer engagement.

  3. Business Development and Partnerships:
    • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and investment opportunities in the LNG value chain.
    • Lead negotiations and contract discussions with customers, suppliers, and partners to secure favorable terms and agreements.
    • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, and regulatory bodies, to support business development initiatives.

  4. Customer Relations and Satisfaction:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing insights, solutions, and support to address their needs and challenges.
    • Monitor customer feedback and market trends to identify opportunities for product/service enhancements and process improvements.

  5. Financial Management and Performance Analysis:
    • Develop and manage commercial budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics to track and optimize commercial activities.
    • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of commercial strategies and initiatives.
    • Identify areas for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency improvements to drive profitability and value creation.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in commercial leadership roles within the LNG industry, with deep expertise in sales, marketing, business development, and customer relations.
  • Strong understanding of the LNG value chain, market dynamics, and regulatory environment.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative commercial strategies that drive business growth and competitive advantage.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and deliver results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including customers, partners, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
