OFFSHORE FOUNDATIONS - WORK PACKAGE MANAGER


Location: Hamburg, Germany
Duration: Permanent, full time


Tasks
* You will lead and coordinate the interdisciplinary Foundation Work Package on technical issues, including the organization of the work package, the development of a foundation strategy, the initiation of pre-FEED and FEED studies, the tendering of foundations, the conduct of contract negotiations, the management of the foundation supply contract after signing (including planning, manufacturing, installation and commissioning) until handover to operation
* Planning and controlling the schedule and budget of the work package and coordinating with the commercial functions as well as identifying, mitigating and controlling the risks associated with the foundations are your responsibilities
* You are responsible for ensuring the exchange of experience with the line organization as well as the areas and functions involved (including category management for the foundations of the purchasing department)
* You will be in close contact with the other work package managers and coordinators on selected specialist topics and, if necessary, participate in troubleshooting


Profile
* You can provide evidence of a completed degree (Master/Diploma) in civil engineering or a comparable degree with several years of professional experience
* You have extensive knowledge in the field of offshore wind turbine foundations and have several years of professional experience in project work and implementation, ideally with specific experience in the realization of foundations for offshore wind farm projects
* In addition, experience in leading contract negotiations and contract management of large infrastructure investment projects is desirable
* For this position, we require fluent written and spoken English skills (at least level C1). German skills at level B2 are desirable
* You are a team player with good communication and persuasion skills
