Purpose of the Job
As an experienced Technical Sales Consultant you will be responsible for consulting customers and support Sales Managers in territory with regards to technical related customer issues about all Turbomachinery core Products (Steam Turbines, Axial-, Radial- and Screw Compressors and their auxiliary components)

* Engineering Degree along with a Bachelor's in Mechanical Design or equivalent technical background.
* Over 10 years of experience in servicing turbomachinery equipment, preferably in field service, engineering, or workshop environments.
* Demonstrated "Yes we can" mentality.
* Possess an entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to make decisions based on informed risk assessments.
* Open, transparent, and flexible mindset.
* Strong team player, willing to share information and collaborate effectively.
* Ability to challenge the status quo and drive innovation.
* Fluent in spoken and written Dutch and English; proficiency in additional foreign languages is advantageous.
* Willingness to travel extensively within Europe as required by business needs (partially >50% of the time and sometimes on very short notice).

* To provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical consultation for all mechanical operating issues of local turbomachinery fleet (both internal and external).
* Support sales activities for regional turbomachinery fleets of any OEM, engaging in technical discussions.
* Regularly accompany sales managers on customer visits in the region to identify and develop business opportunities for all Omnicare products, including maintenance, spare parts, repairs, revamps, service contracts, and field service.
* Identify and develop opportunities for third-party machine business in collaboration with Sales Managers and existing/new customers, aligning with Omnicare's strategies.
* Facilitate regular technical knowledge transfer with other regions and PCs.
* Assist field service personnel in resolving technical problems as needed.
* Conduct technical analyses, prepare reports, and maintain documentation.
* Prepare proposals for technical solutions and offerings for customers.
* Participate in GO/NO-GO decisions for regional Omnicare opportunities.
* Evaluate potential Omnicare partners.
* Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Field Service, and Workshop teams to develop repair concepts and solutions.
