Job Role: Senior Controls Software Engineer

Location: Maranello

Salary: €50,000 - €55,000 plus benefits

As an Senior Controls Software Engineer your remit will include:

We are seeking a dedicated candidate to be a part of the Controls operations team in Maranello, Italy. As a Controls Software Engineer you will be responsible for the concept, architecture, implementation, testing and commissioning of controls software and hardware solutions for projects in operations. You will play a key role in our realization phase and make our projects come alive. You will be part of the Controls team in Italy and you will be involved in diverse projects, of varying complexity where you will have the opportunity to travel for the different phases of the projects within the south EMEA region, but also in other locations within EMEA.

What you will bring to the company:

* Academic diploma and/or practical experience in electrical / controls engineering.

* Industrial experience with knowledge of Siemens Simatic Classic S7, Siemens TIA and/or Beckhoff Twincat. (Other OOP languages in addition would be meritorious).

* Knowledge of reading and understanding electrical schematic drawings.

* Practical experience in on-site commissioning activities.

* It is meritorious if you have experience of Intralogistics and industrial warehouse systems such as Conveyors, cranes etc

What the company can offer you:

- Travel allowances: We provide specific allowance when the person is travelling (Italy € 34.11, EU € 68,50, Extra EU 84,57) These gross amounts are intended for each night spent away. In Italy we call them "Diarie".

We provide the person with a car from our pool. He/She needs to reach the office and then get the car to go onsite. We pay the time spent from our office to the Customer site, e vice versa, as working hours, but we do not pay the time for the home/office trip.

- Smart working: We have a smart working policy that allows us to work from home up to three days a week. The person needs to know that, during the first period, will be asked to be more present in the office. Then, the smart working can be organized depending on the activities. This will be agreed in advance with the manager.

- Ticket restaurant: We provide the person with tickets restaurant (€8), for each day worked in the office or at home. When the person is travelling, we apply a specific policy for the expenses.

- Flexible working hours: We have a policy that allows us to come into the office with flexible hours. The standard working day is 8am-5pm with a one-hour lunch break. We can come into the office until 9:30 and leave in the evening, accordingly, having provided 8 working hours.

- Corporate Welfare: Once the person has passed the probation period, we will activate the corporate welfare platform, where he/she will get € 500 that can spend on the online platform or in shops. This amount is renewed year by year.

- Merit increase policy: Starting from the second year of employment, the person will be eligible to participate in the merit increase process, in which he/she will receive an annual salary increase. The amount will depend on the evaluations provided by the manager during the year. This process is repeated year by year.
