Earthstream Global and proud to be recruiting for a Internal technical Sales Person for a company which has been leading the way in advanced engineering for more than 250 years.

Job Role: Internal Sales Consultant

Location Antwerpen, Belgium

Salary : €32500 to €46800

As an internal Sales Person your goal is to support the business development team in the administration, creation and follow-up of quotations, in an adequate manner and with the shortest possible response time.

As a Internal Sales Person your remit will include:

• You are responsible for processing customer requests from the business development team
• You are aware of customer developments, following up on prospects based on the assigned accounts;
• You follow the developments within the organization
• You transfer leads to the relevant key account manager;
• In consultation with the relevant key account manager, assess the customer request based on feasibility, creditworthiness and expertise in compliant commercial agreements;
• You provide input on availability and make offers within and outside the organization;
• You manage the follow-up of deliveries;
• You will collect and inventory the necessary information for the customer request;
• You are responsible for formulating technical quotations , following up on technical quotations and realizing the order;
• You prepare invoices and keep a close eye on margin controls;You maintain effective and timely communication with customers via telephone and/or email;
• You collect information regarding lost orders;You monitor the quotation process for response time, quality and customer friendliness.

Skills Required

• You have a technical background and/or a technical education in Mechanical Engineering;
• You have at least 5 years of work experience in a similar position;
• Work experience in the maritime industry is an advantage;
• You have experience with ERP systems (SAP is a plus);
• You are customer-oriented and respond quickly;
• You like challenges and enjoy thinking along with the customer;
• You are performance-oriented and like to take initiative;
• You are a team player and work very accurately, because communication is your strong point;
• You have a good command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written;
• You live in the Antwerp region.
