Earthstream are proud to be recruiting a Project Manager for a Global FMCG manufacturer based in Mayen

Job Role: Project Manager

Location: Mayen

Salary: €70,000 - €80,000 plus benefits

As a Project Manager your remit will include:

  • Responsibility for project management
  • Technical advice for international production sites
  • Project coordination of complex production facilities and productivity-enhancing conversions
  • Complete technical specification and feasibility assessment in collaboration with international manufacturing sites
  • Concept and layout creation in the 3D CAD system for new machines, machine relocations and conversions
  • Providing project requirements to all internal departments
  • Planning and tracking
  • Regular monitoring of the project status and initiation of corrective measures in all departments
  • Documented verification and validation of requirements during planning, construction and commissioning
  • Project-related budget responsibility
  • Ongoing cost control of projects with early warning of impending budget overruns
  • Ensuring the accuracy and delivery quality of overall projects
  • Management of commissioning in-house and on-site at production plants worldwide
  • Active implementation of process settings and process optimizations on baby diaper and baby pants machines up to final acceptance according to FTR procedure
  • Supporting innovations to increase production speed, quality, safety and ergonomics
  • Compliance with and documentation of mechanical and operational safety of new machines, modifications and optimizations
  • Training of internal and external employees
  • Special tasks as instructed by the supervisor

What you will bring to the company:

  • Successfully completed technical studies or master/technician training in the field of mechanics with relevant professional experience

  • Basic knowledge of process engineering

  • Good knowledge of mechanical design

  • Independent organisation and implementation of the complete initial commissioning

  • Knowledge and practical experience in the operation and setup of hygiene machines

  • Knowledge and practical experience in analyzing corrective settings of process parameters to improve performance

  • Knowledge and experience in validation according to FTR procedures (IQ/OQ/PQ)

  • Experience in project management

  • Knowledge and practical experience in the international relocation of machinery

  • 3D CAD knowledge

  • Knowledge of calculation and cost accounting in mechanical engineering

  • Solid knowledge of MS Office

  • Good knowledge of MS Project

  • Language skills: English, German

  • Willingness to travel internationally 50-80 days/year

  • Valid class B driving license

  • Structured and analytical working method

  • Ability to work in a team, judgment, strong communication skills and high intercultural competence
