Contracts Manager (Power Distribution)

Here at Earthstream Global we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager (power distribution) to join one of the hydrogen steel manufacturing companies in Europe.

Main responsibilities of the Contract Manager (Power Distribution) will include:

• First point of contact for all business contract-related inquiries, with a focus on power distribution; clarification of all contract-related issues before and after the conclusion of the contract.
• Overall contract project management responsibility for your area, implementing short interval control on the contractors.
• Development of negotiation strategies with a cross-functional negotiation team, leading complex contract negotiations, strategic projects, and customer meetings for power distribution equipment supply.
• Transfer your experience from contract knowledge and concluded contract projects within the power distribution industry to consult the procurement and technical team to improve contract concepts and business models.
• Identifying and assessing risk-related areas during the contract negotiation and lifecycle with the required internal counterparts.
• Handle change orders and claim management diligently and efficiently to achieve the project's desired outcomes.
• Maintain and ensure audit compliance and correspondence registers to support future possible contractual disputes.

Qualifications:

• A degree in engineering, economics, law, or equivalent.
• Experience in project management, including functional experience in contract management within the power distribution industry.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken, is essential.
• A confident and competent approach to complex negotiations.
• Experience working with cross-functional and global multi-cultural teams, with an ability to engage and influence decision-makers at all hierarchical levels.
• A strong business focus, solution, and problem-solving orientation with the ability to assess complex contractual topics, especially in the power distribution field.
