Senior Project Planner

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Planner with at least 8 years of experience in heavy industrial, pharmaceutical, chemical, or related sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring timely project execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.
• Monitor project progress, adjust schedules as needed, and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Allocate and track resources, optimizing efficiency and addressing potential issues.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring projects stay on track.
• Ensure schedules meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular updates to project managers, engineers, and clients.
• Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates and forecasts.
• Evaluate and improve project planning processes.
• Mentor junior planners and contribute to team development.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• 8+ years in project planning within heavy industrial, pharma, or chemical sectors.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project.
• PMP or similar certification preferred.
• In-depth understanding of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project execution strategies in heavy industrial, pharmaceutical, and chemical sectors.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyse complex data and develop actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
