Here at Earthstream Global we currently have an exciting opportunity for a BAS-P Consultant to join one of the first green steel manufacturing companies in Europe.
Main responsibilities of the BAS-P Consultant will include:
- Planning and Coordination of Health and Safety: The Bas-P is responsible for ensuring that health and safety considerations are integrated into the planning and design stages of the project. This includes coordinating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to address potential risks from the outset.
- Risk Assessment: The Bas-P conducts risk assessments during the planning phase, identifying potential hazards associated with the design and construction processes. The goal is to mitigate risks before construction begins.
- Work Environment Plan Development: The Bas-P plays a key role in developing the work environment plan, which outlines how health and safety risks will be managed during the construction phase. This plan serves as a foundation for the Bas-U's work during execution.
- Coordination with Design Professionals: The Bas-P ensures that all design professionals, including architects and engineers, consider health and safety aspects in their work. This includes ensuring that designs facilitate safe construction practices and do not introduce unnecessary risks.
- Documentation and Communication: The Bas-P is responsible for documenting all health and safety considerations made during the planning phase and ensuring that this information is communicated effectively to the Bas-U and other relevant parties.
- Updating the Work Environment Plan: As the project evolves, the Bas-P may need to update the work environment plan to reflect any changes in design or planning that could impact health and safety.
Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of documented experience acting as a supervising BAS P in large complex industrial projects.
- Documented experience from design management and solid experience also from construction.
- Approved Swedish BAS P/U training
- Great knowledge and experience of working based on current Swedish work environment legislation and knowledge of upcoming legislation that will enter into force shortly.
- Self-motivated team player.
- Swedish speaking is meritorious, English speaking is a requirement.
