Job Role: Controls System Engineer
Location: Dortmund
Salary: €60,000 - €70,000 plus benefits
As a Controls System Engineer your remit will include:
- You ensure the efficient implementation of retrofits of our control systems, using standard concepts and processes.
- For our Germany-wide projects, you will mainly determine the current status of systems and installed controls on site.
- You are responsible for the planning and development of control retrofits and modernizations.
- Based on the results obtained, you will help prepare fixed-price offers for retrofits and modernizations using a standardized cost calculation process.
- You support your EMEA counterpart at local level in planning training courses to implement the target concepts and strategy for the modernization of controls in the region.
What you will bring to the position:
- You have a deep understanding of control systems and know the possibilities for their modernization or retrofitting potential.
- You have already carried out on-site assessments for customers and can draw on this experience.
- Your proactive nature helps you to advance issues independently.
- You have analytical skills, communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- You are familiar with warehouse processes and have supported automation projects in one of the sectors, such as food, electronics, fashion and clothing, FMCG and retail.
