Legal Counsel
We are looking for a Legal with a background in the Renewable Energy industry to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal advice and guidance to management and various departments, manage litigation matters, review and draft agreements, and ensure compliance with legal requirements while meeting the business objectives. The role requires exceptional coordination skills with stakeholders and customers to avoid litigation and maintain proper legal records. Experience
15 to 20 years of relevant experience in the legal field within the Renewable Energy industry.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Providing legal advice and guidance to management and various departments as needed.
- Managing litigation matters, including attending court hearings, drafting, reviewing, and vetting pleadings and court documents, and interacting with panel Advocates/Counsels to ensure favorable outcomes.
- Reviewing and drafting agreements to ensure compliance with legal requirements and alignment with business needs.
- Maintaining proper records related to legal matters.
- Coordinating with all stakeholders to complete the TSR as per management requirements.
- Close coordination with internal and external customers to prevent litigation.
Education Qualification
Master of Laws (LL.M) or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
Certification Required
Bar Council certification is mandatory.
