Senior Cost Manager - CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural)

In this role, you will:

• Actively participate in the tender/bid process, from initial documentation through analysis and reporting.
• Manage the change management process by identifying, analyzing, approving, and implementing changes that affect project costs.
• Analyze tenders/bids to ensure client value for money.
• Assist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts, including handling claims to ensure the client gets the best value from works undertaken.
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
• Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports, and clearly communicate variations to your team.
• Support nimble project management and clear decisions through excellent cost documentation and timely communication.
• Support the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims with transparency.
• Foster top performance and growth for your employees through excellent mentorship and leadership.

We'd love to hear from you if you:

• Have experience as a senior cost manager, ideally within a consultancy setting.
• Are skilled in pre-contract cost management, budget control, cost planning, and preparing and initiating change forms for discussion with project stakeholders, with knowledge of alternative construction materials.
• Are chartered or working towards chartership (we can support you in this journey).
• Hold a degree or have equivalent experience in project management or a construction-related discipline.
• Excel in verbal and written communication.
