PMC Data Centre Project Director

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion a high-performance safety culture for the project.
• Lead end-to-end project delivery for a large greenfield campus, ensuring the project is safely delivered on schedule, within budget, and meets all quality objectives.
• Coordinate the development of a data centre campus project, from due diligence and master planning to implementation, handover, certification, and acceptance.
• Create project delivery plans aligned with customer requirements, including communication plans and key events.
• Ensure customer satisfaction at every project stage, taking appropriate actions to resolve issues as needed.
• Commit to improving project management capabilities through standardization and automation in Linesight projects for data centres.
• Coach, mentor, and train the team on continuous improvement techniques and standard reporting procedures.
• Ensure sound project management by continuously reviewing risks and implementing mitigation measures as necessary.
• Support the preparation of documentation for requests for quotation and service descriptions for key project participants.
• Promote the development and governance of program-level reporting on project status, including scheduling, budgeting, safety, and risks.
• Ensure consistent implementation of company standards for project and program delivery by all stakeholders.
• Support the submission of offers for new service requests and manage compelling presentations for potential new customers.
• Assist in recruitment to fulfill orders and expand the business according to the regional plan.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain strong relationships and provide regular updates on project progress.
• Ensure client satisfaction at every project stage, taking key actions to resolve issues as required.
• Ensure construction work meets quality standards and project specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits.
• Be accountable for robust project governance, continuously reviewing risks and implementing mitigating measures where required.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
• Prepare detailed project reports and documentation for senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate records of project activities, changes, and approvals.

• Have experience in data centre construction/project management with increasing levels of leadership and people management.
• Have a degree or comparable experience in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or another construction-related discipline.
• Are PMP and LEED AP qualified or on the path to completing it.
