Job Role: Sales Applications Engineer

Location: Telford

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 pa plus car allowance & benefits

As a Sales Applications Engineer your remit will include:

To configure technical solutions from end customer specifications across our core vertical markets. To estimate resources and equipment required, using engineering software and tools as required. To prepare high-quality quotations and proposals using clear concise language, explaining technical solutions in good detail and clearly capturing the offered scope of supply To prepare system topologies and technical material to support proposals. To act as an interface between sales and engineering teams and to provide a high standard of technical support to the sales team. To attend customer sites as and when required.

What you will bring to the company:

Qualified to degree level in electrical/electronic or mechatronic engineering. Knowledge of systems integration concepts and technologies. Appreciation of core commercial concepts and common industry drivers. Proven experience using MS Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Visio. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Preferred Technical Experience: Knowledge and experience of some of the following: AC, DC & Servo VSDs (including the ability to size motors from first principles) PLC SCADA / HMI MES / MIS Networks Fieldbus Protocols Mechanical Drives Robotics Safety Systems Industry 4.0
