Job Summary

The Operating Director will oversee the operational and financial performance of portfolio companies, leveraging expertise in infrastructure funds, M&A, asset management, and data-driven strategies to enhance value.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Management

• Oversee and optimize portfolio assets, aligning them with strategic and financial goals.
• Drive value-add initiatives, including cost efficiencies, process improvements, and growth strategies.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to ensure data-driven performance tracking and decision-making.

Investment Lifecycle

• Collaborate with investment teams during due diligence, providing operational and financial insights.
• Support post-acquisition integration to ensure seamless transitions and strategic alignment.
• Manage portfolio exits, maximizing value during divestitures.

Operational Leadership

• Partner with portfolio management teams to improve efficiency, enhance EBITDA, and optimize capital structures.
• Oversee asset management to ensure assets meet or exceed forecasted performance.
• Provide strategic guidance as the fund's operational expert.

M&A and Asset Management

• Lead or support M&A transactions, including valuation, structuring, and post-merger integration.
• Manage assets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring governance and strong performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years in investment banking, with a focus on M&A and Asset management.
• Strong track record in infrastructure funds across diverse sectors and asset classes.
• Proven expertise in executing M&A transactions and managing asset performance.
• Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills; data-driven and detail-oriented.
• Strategic thinker with hands-on experience in operational performance improvement.
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure investments, deal structuring, and portfolio management.
