EarthStream Global is seeking a skilled and experienced Installation Supervisor to join our team for an upcoming high-profile Transmission & Distribution (T&D) / HVDC project in Germany. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and Manage Installation Activities: Oversee the installation of electrical and mechanical systems, including critical HVDC components such as transformers, switchgear, and power converters, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of installations to ensure compliance with technical drawings, industry standards, and contractual requirements.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols, promoting a safety-first culture on site.
• Coordination and Collaboration: Work closely with contractors, engineers, and other supervisors to optimize site operations and resource utilization.
• Issue Resolution: Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential issues or bottlenecks, ensuring smooth progress of installation works.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate daily progress logs, prepare detailed reports, and provide regular updates to the Installation Manager and project stakeholders.
• Training and Mentoring: Guide and support on-site teams to maintain high standards of workmanship and technical expertise.

Qualifications and Experience

• A diploma or degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven hands-on experience in supervising installation activities within T&D/HVDC projects, preferably in Europe.
• Deep understanding of HVDC technology, installation procedures, and related equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
• Exceptional organizational and communication abilities, ensuring effective collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of German or other European languages is a plus.
