EarthStream Global is hiring skilled Commissioning Engineers to support the commissioning of advanced Transmission & Distribution (T&D) / HVDC systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-profile project and gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- System Testing and Validation: Conduct pre-commissioning, commissioning, and performance testing of HVDC systems, transformers, and related equipment.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure all systems meet technical specifications, client requirements, and safety standards.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues during the commissioning phase, ensuring optimal system performance.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed commissioning records, including test protocols, results, and certification documents.
- Coordination: Collaborate with installation teams, contractors, and other engineers to ensure smooth execution of commissioning tasks.
- Handover Support: Provide technical support during the system handover phase, ensuring seamless transition to operational teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with commissioning activities in T&D/HVDC systems, including control and protection systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with testing tools and software commonly used in T&D/HVDC projects.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
- Fluency in English; additional languages, particularly German, are beneficial.
