Job Title: HVAC Technician (Data Centre Projects)

Job Overview:

EarthStream Gloabl are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician's to support the testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of HVAC systems in our data centre projects. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal HVAC system performance in critical environments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the HVAC infrastructure, ensuring its operational efficiency, and providing 24/7 on-call support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Testing and Commissioning: Perform comprehensive testing and commissioning of HVAC systems within data centres, ensuring systems meet performance specifications and operational standards.
• Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve HVAC system issues swiftly and effectively to minimize downtime in critical data centre environments.
• Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal functionality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• System Monitoring: Continuously monitor HVAC systems using data and diagnostic tools, ensuring environmental conditions meet the specific requirements for data centre equipment.
• Emergency Response: Provide 24/7 on-call support to address HVAC emergencies or system failures, ensuring quick resolution to prevent disruptions to critical systems.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and system modifications, providing detailed reports for internal records and compliance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other technical staff to ensure HVAC systems are integrated smoothly into data centre operations and meet performance expectations.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards, ensuring HVAC systems are maintained and operated in a safe and compliant manner.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Relevant HVAC certifications are a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting, preferably in data centre or mission-critical environments.
• Proven experience with cooling systems, chillers, air handling units, and other HVAC components.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to respond to on-call emergencies 24/7, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
