What will you be doing:
- Identify and close sales opportunities in accordance with the Company's overall strategic plans and financial objectives in the region
- Develop and maintain relationships with solar distribution channels and strategic accounts
- Actively pursue direct sales leads with installers, distributors and utility companies
- Provide revenue forecasts and review sales results to ensure targets are being met; take corrective action where required
- Nurture the relationship with leading PV project developers at all levels to ensure that remains the supplier of choice for their installations
- Maintain accurate and up to date customer records in the company CRM system
- Assist the product management teams to define and improve the product portfolio for use in the market by regularly gathering feedback from customers, business partners and closely monitoring industry trends
- Provide input regarding marketing and product positioning strategies specific to the territory
- Successfully execute our brand and messaging strategy and act as an external evangelist of the brand
- Attend tradeshows and conferences
- Liaise with the local and international teams to ensure that sales targets are being defined and met
- Prepare quarterly business review reports covering market, sales, marketing, service, plan, etc.
- Develop and update key account penetration plan
Job Requirements
- BA/BS degree. BS in a related technical disciplines such as Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering - a plus!
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in technical sales
- Previous experience in the PV industry - a plus!
- Solid and verifiable track record of overachievement and successfully growing market share and identifying, negotiating/converting and closing large dollar deals
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand the technical workings of the SolarEdge product line and convey the advanced technical product benefits to potential customers in easy-to-grasp terms.
- Ability to identify and convert new accounts while maintaining existing relationships
- Demonstrated success in operating effectively in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, complex, rapid growth environment
What will you be doing?
- Act as "lead" on all technical matters with strategic account(s). Proactively develop customer service strategy to manage customer business objectives.
- Will manage on nationally all technical support issues in front of the customer
- Share with the customer knowledge DB and app-notes to be able to be self maintained
- Owns customer satisfaction with technology
- Host weekly technical calls with customers regularly and manage key projects, requiring cross functional discipline.
- Directly escalate and act as focal point to Marketing, Support, HQ marketing, HQ R&D, teams.
- Ensure company resources can deliver to customer requirements and follow-through on commitments. Act as project manager to deliver required results.
- Management of internal technical resources as needed.
- Customer contact for any special issues and trends in customer territories.
- Ensure that all levels within the customer account are trained. (regardless of who trains them) including, installers, designers, tier-1 phone support, tier-2 field service engineers, customer data analytic performance team, etc.
- Receives and translates as appropriate customer suggestions of hardware or software feature changes.
- Understands customer expectations, detailed knowledge of customers market strength/weakness, Expert in customer's business objectives, current and future. Customer contact to discuss product customizations and future developments.
Position Requirements:
- 5+ years of technical service and account management experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar domains
- Experience in the solar industry- Strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of industry and experience managing accounts
- Occasional travel and customer facing activities required.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adaptive, smart problem solving, often looking for solutions that readily scale and have fleet wide impact with positive outcomes.
- Strong verbal communication skills including effective cross-functional communication habits in order to effect change on behalf of customer.
- Demonstrated ability to interface with strategic customers and contacts at an executive and staff level- board room to roof top abilities.
- Proven ability to deliver high level of customer service and a strong technical aptitude.
- Excellent report-writing and data analytical skills. Strong project management skills.

Job Description
Seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Project Manager / Business Development with a strong technical background in wind, solar, storage, and/or practical experience with project financing to join our Taiwan team.
Our team operates at the cutting edge of the renewables industry providing technical due diligence and advisory services to diverse customers in the Taiwanese market, primarily in support of M&A transactions such as purchases, sales, and refinancing of projects and platforms and Lender's Technical Advisor. Our technical work contributes to the efficient functioning of the equity markets which are increasingly driving renewable energy penetration in Taiwan.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing project management and technical advisory services in support of M&A DD & LTA projects across different discipline. You will contribute to a high performing team by delivering customer value, fostering collaboration, driving innovation, and identifying opportunities for team growth and improvement.
What you'll do:
- Lead overall project management and customer communication as the primary point of contact for the execution of due diligence and LTA engagements.
- Leverage experience, expertise, and creative thought to perform and/or manage technical analysis for solar, wind, and storage projects. Typical scopes include evaluation of project value through:
- Review of key project contracts describing interconnection, revenue, construction, and operations and maintenance.
- Validation of technical inputs in project financial models including assessment of energy generation forecasts, and construction and operating costs.
- Review of project designs and technologies.
- Operational evaluations including site inspections and interviews (both on-site and virtual), and review of operating history and asset management approach; and
- Industry benchmarking analyses and development stage project screening studies.
- Coordinate technical reviews among internal specialists including the civil and electrical engineering, energy assessment, technology, and permitting teams.
- Discuss and resolve technical issues in partnership with transaction stakeholders, including coordination of input on such issues from internal technical specialists, as necessary.
- Lead the reporting process, including writing, editing, and synthesizing inputs from technical disciplines into technical due diligence reports.
- Develop winning proposals for scopes of services related to due diligence work, including creative tailoring and sequencing of work to meet budget and timeline requirements.
- Support in the business development of DD and LTA opportunities for solar, wind and storage opportunities in Taiwan.
- Support customers through the financial closings of projects through Q&A and deliverables updates
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts for the M&A team, such as tool development, process refinement, internal training, and lessons learned activities.
- Prioritize QHSE considerations within the team to ensure safe execution and healthy work environment.
- Adhere to the system for quality management, including liaising with QHSE leadership on developing procedures, instructions, guidelines, and checklists in order to ensure quality of services produced by the M&A team.
- Able to perform business development includes:
- Assist in the preparation of technical papers or presentations.
- Business development support in initiating and developing leads for proposals and projects.
- Proactive on customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the Taiwan energy market.
- Previous exposure to project financing and working knowledge of project finance fundamentals, transaction mechanics, and financial closing processes.
