You are responsible for answering engineering-related questions, checking design quality, and providing technical support during execution when needed. You ensure a smooth design process throughout various phases of the project. To do this, you work closely with engineers from other disciplines, project teams, and the asset management/operations organisation. You monitor the progress and quality of designs produced by contractors and issue assignments to engineering parties. You also ensure the correct delivery of all as-built documentation. The work primarily focuses on one‑to‑one replacements, customer connection modifications, and secondary system renovations. You work under the guidance of the Lead Engineer and Project Manager and coordinate technical issues with Asset Management. You are the technical point of contact for contractors and engineering partners within your area of expertise, and you help determine which deviations from specifications may be accepted. As a Project Engineer, you fall hierarchically under Area West, are part of multiple project teams, and report to the Lead Engineer of the respective project.
