SENIOR PLANNER
EarthStream are currently looking for a 'Senior Planner' to assist a project in the UK. This is for an immediate start so a UK Passport/Work permit is required for this opportunity.
The senior Planner is a critical role within the Offshore Business. You will be responsible for development, maturing and analysis of the project overall planning, during the Pre-FID phase of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planner will be responsible for developing, updating and analyzing the Project Programme.
- Identify synergies among the activities, and any overlap or gaps that may occur, and propose solutions and enhancing measures. This role is essential to identify opportunities for synergies, in cost and time saving.
- Prepare, deliver and implement Planning standards, processes and procedures.
- Creating project plans and implementation.
- Management of key project plans and contractor's programmes which require interface and precise coordination with multiple disciplines (structures, turbines, electrical cables, offshore substations, ports, vessels).
Requirements:
- +3 years' Experience in Planning for large EPC projects, ideally offshore wind energy related, throughout the different phases of the project (pre-delivery, execution and operation)
- Experience and skills in Primavera P6.
- Experience in offshore wind projects / energy projects.
- Experience in offshore windfarm, marine works or oil and gas programme delivery and marine operations scheduling and its potential delay risks.
- Experience in tendering processes programming.
- Innovative and creative thinking.
- Problem solving - dealing with conflicting requirements.
- Fluent English both written and verbal

CONTRACT MANAGER
Earthstream are looking for a 'Contract Manager' to assist a project in London/Glasgow. This is for an immediate start so a UK Passport/Work permit is required for this project.
Contract Manager is responsible for developing and managing contracts within the Offshore Business. This role will involve close collaboration with teams from Construction, Operations, Legal, Insurance, Finance, and Procurement to ensure best-in-class Contract Management
Responsibilities:
- To develop adequately balanced risk profiles within the client package through
contract strategy and ongoing contract management.
- Implement the necessary processes and procedures required to develop the project
contract.
- Project business cases are to be supported with detailed contractual assessments across the offshore installation, ports and logistics among others.
- Anticipate contractual and commercial risks, opportunities and threats to the project and implement control measures or actions.
- Maintain value adding relationships with all contractor and suppliers.
- Coordinate all legal and procurement activities for the project area.
- Collaborating closely with the Package Manager on the project
- Managing and administering, the IAC contract in place with the supplier, including but not limited to claims, variations and contract amendments.
- Monitoring and anticipating claims made by the contractor under the agreement and assisting in developing mitigation strategies in line with the terms.
- Supporting in preparing notes of advice and commercial drafting on claims and variations.
Requirements:
- A degree and professional qualification in relevant engineering disciplines or commercially orientated qualification.
- Experience as project manager, project engineer or contract manager, within renewables sector, for a minimum of 10 years.
- Experience in contract management, within offshore business preferably in the supply and installation of cables and associated offshore operations, for a minimum of 5 years.
- The ability to manage your own performance, with a significant focus on delivery and an ability to balance a varied and challenging workload, while producing high-quality results in demanding timeframes.
- Fluent in English, both verbally and written.
- A good understanding of wind farm construction activities and the contractual
- IT literacy, with the ability to operate MS Office systems and other project management software.
- Flexibility to travel.

CABLE CLIENT REPRESENTATIVE
EarthStream are currently looking for multiple 'Cable client Representatives to assist a project in the UK. This is for an immediate start so a UK Passport/Work Permit is needed for this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Ensure that all relevant approved procedures and risk assessments are followed by the contractor.
- Ensure the Contractor proactively manages safety and quality.
- Ensure sub-contractors are adhering to the set safety regulations.
- Prepare and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPR) as required.
- Ensure the DPRs are signed by all required parties.
- Review and understand RA/MS and QHSE documents as required before execution phase commences and keep updated on changes in the documents.
- Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks and any other discussions to ensure that the works are being carried out in a safe manner to the required quality.
- During all defined key activities and otherwise as often as practicable be present as a witness during installation. Access all work areas provided it is safe to do so.
Requirements:
- Experience with cable repairs.
- 5 years of experience working with cables offshore.
- GWO courses: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling.
- BOSIET/HUET incl. CA-EBS.
- OGUK Medical certificate including Chester step.
- IOSH Managing Safely or similar HSE training.
- IT proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet)
- Speaks, reads, and writes English fluently.
- Must have maritime or offshore background.

CIVIL QC INSPECTOR
EarthStream are currently looking for a 'Civil QC Inspector' to assist a project in the Netherlands. This is to start ASAP so an EU Passport/Work permit is required for this opportunity.
Duration: 3 month contract initially, options to extend
Type: Freelance contract
Extension possible: YES
Rotation: Possible night shift and weekends
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Perform witness, inspection & surveillance checks and continually assess Subcontractor QC performance.
- Ensure the quality of the work in accordance with the Quality Plan, approved ITPs, and procedures within assigned areas.
- Ensure that all inspection activities are recorded in the appropriate records.
- Monitor Subcontractors QC resource levels to achieve quality standards according to agreed ratio
- Identify and document Subcontractor and Supplier quality deficiencies and initiate non-conformance process as required.
- Record deficiencies and/or incomplete works on punch items and liaise with Wood supervisor/ superintendent to expedite necessary rectification
- Maintain close liaison with discipline supervisors to coordinate filed inspections
- Make sure that materials used are in accordance with project technical documents and applicable codes and specifications.
- Support QC/ turnover team for collecting relevant QC records
Requirements (but not limited to):
- Immediately available
- EU Passport/Work Permit
- Fluent in English both written and Verbal
- Dutch speaking (is a bonus, not mandatory)
- Worked with European codes as NBN EN 206-1, NBN EN 13670, NBN EN 13369.
- 5 years+ experience in role or similar
