I was lucky enough to land myself an apprenticeship working for an IT recruitment company back in 2013 and learnt the ropes very quickly. The sales environment, work ethic and buzz around the office was exactly why I joined the industry. I progressed very quickly and was moved into 360 Sales Consultant. Any recruiter will agree, there is no better feeling than picking up your first job with your own client and successful placing a suitable candidate. From that moment on I was hooked.
My focus for the past 6 years has been supporting clients across the renewable sector, with the primary focus being wind energy in both off and onshore.
I have built up some very strong relationships with clients over the years whilst delivering some market leading talent solutions. I have travelled overseas on several occasions to meet with clients to establish their needs and that of our contractors.
I make sure I attend every major wind conference in the UK, to stay on top of market developments and discuss new legislations in the market.
I have successfully won tenders with major blue-collar clients to deliver multiple manpower projects for a variety of programmes. Delivering to large projects makes the role very exciting, it creates a number of interesting challenges not just in terms of staffing but also meeting the compliance deliverables, I think this is where I gain my highest level of satisfaction.
Besides my work life, I enjoy socialising with friends/family. I am a big Arsenal fan so enjoy watching football and attending as many games as possible.
