Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 66kV Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to support the safe and effective delivery of electrical works on a high-profile offshore wind farm project. The SAP will be responsible for ensuring all switching operations, isolation, and energisation of HV systems are carried out in accordance with safety rules and project-specific procedures.

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 66kV Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to support the safe and effective delivery of electrical works on a high-profile offshore wind farm project. The SAP will be responsible for ensuring all switching operations, isolation, and energisation of HV systems are carried out in accordance with safety rules and project-specific procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an authorised 66kV SAP in line with the project Electrical Safety Rules and the client's HV network policies.
- Prepare and issue switching schedules, safety documents (PTW, SFT, LOTO, etc.), and coordinate all high voltage operations.
- Lead energisation and de-energisation of 66kV offshore and onshore assets including cables, switchgear, and transformers.
- Perform safety assessments, isolations, and commissioning support of the HV infrastructure.
- Liaise with grid operators (e.g., National Grid) and ensure compliance with grid code requirements.
- Coordinate with OEMs, EPC contractors, and O&M teams to ensure a safe system of work.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all HV operations and ensure documentation is compliant with regulatory and client requirements.
- Contribute to toolbox talks, risk assessments, and method statements involving HV works.
- Support audits, inspections, and reviews of electrical safety practices.
- Proven experience as a SAP at 66kV or above on offshore wind or similar HV infrastructure projects.
- Hold valid 66kV (or higher) authorisation under relevant Electrical Safety Rules (e.g., DNO, ISO, or client-specific).
- Strong knowledge of high voltage systems, including switchgear, protection schemes, and SCADA interfaces.
- Offshore certification: GWO Basic Safety Training, HUET, Offshore Medical.
- Right to work in EU.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead HV operations in a dynamic, safety-critical environment.
- Willingness to work offshore in rotation or as required by the project schedule.
