Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Controls Technical Field Advisor (TFA) to support the installation, commissioning, and overhaul of power generation equipment across multiple sites in the United States. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with GE, along with a strong understanding of turbine operation and field service best practices.

This is a travel-intensive role, ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about delivering high-quality technical support on critical energy infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide field support for the installation, commissioning, and major overhauls of turbine control systems (gas and steam turbines).
  • Lead and support control system configuration, calibration, loop checks, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform functional testing of control hardware and software (GE Mark VI, Vie)
  • Collaborate with site teams, OEM representatives, and customer personnel to ensure timely and efficient execution.
  • Deliver accurate field reports, commissioning logs, and control system documentation.
  • Maintain strict adherence to site safety protocols and industry standards.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience in power generation field services as a Controls TFA or similar role.
  • Proven hands-on experience with GE control systems (e.g., Mark VI, VIe).
  • Strong knowledge of turbine operation, instrumentation, and control system architecture.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control logic diagrams.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 100% nationwide.
  • Excellent communication and customer interface skills.
