General Site Manager – Onshore Substation x2 Location: Norfolk/Swindon/London Duration: 30/03/2026 to 30/03/2027 Rotation: Mon-Fri, 40 hours a week Outside IR35 Description: MSP | UK | Client General Site Manager – Onshore Substation The Onshore General Site Manager is to act as the onsite Client Representative during the site initial designs, constructability assessments and planning of the works, prepare for site establishment and later construction of the Onshore Electrical Substation and associated onshore works. Supports the HVDC Package Manager through the construction phase, and manages all aspects of the Client’s site duties under the Contract. The role will co-ordinate the Client Site Representatives and ensure that all site related information is coordinated between the supporting functions within the project. Details: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Onshore General Site Manager is to act as the onsite Client Representative during the site initial designs, constructability assessments and planning and later construction and handover of the works. The consultant will act as the central coordination point for SCADA commissioning, working across contractors, engineering teams, and commissioning management to ensure seamless execution. The role requires both technical depth and the ability to operate effectively in a complex, multi-stakeholder EPC environment. Electrical Construction Manager Location: Mons, Belgium Contract: 6 months We are currently recruiting an Electrical Construction Manager for a 6-month contract based in Mons, Belgium. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist and take a leading role in site safety management in collaboration with the project and safety teams.</li><li>Provide leadership in site quality assurance alongside the QA Manager.</li><li>Manage, monitor, and report all project costs, including labour, materials, plant and equipment, variations, and valuations.</li><li>Support the coordination and oversight of daily site operations.</li><li>Ensure accurate reporting of direct labour and subcontractor hours to the time administrator for central tracking.</li><li>Chair and contribute to site meetings, including internal project reviews, engineering and planning coordination meetings, and handover meetings.</li><li>Support project close-out activities, including final account settlement, O&M manuals, punch lists, safety files, QA documentation, equipment and plant relocation, and project plan completion, in conjunction with the site project manager.</li><li>Ensure team input into weekly progress reports compiled from supervisors, highlighting percentage completion against WBS codes and identifying any risks or issues.</li><li>Provide strong safety and quality leadership across all project activities.</li><li>Ensure all subcontractor documentation, including safety records, is kept up to date and properly archived.</li><li>Assist in labour forecasting based on input from field supervisors.</li><li>Work with the commercial team to ensure all variations are identified, captured, and costed for client submission.</li><li>Carry out any other duties required to support successful project delivery.</li></ul>Essential Criteria <ul><li>5–7 years’ experience as a Construction Manager or Supervisor on large-scale industrial construction projects.</li><li>Trade background or third-level qualification in engineering or construction-related discipline.</li><li>Proven experience coordinating and managing complex, large-scale projects.</li><li>Pharmaceutical industry experience is advantageous.</li></ul>
