Supports the HVDC Package Manager through the construction phase, and manages all aspects of the Client’s site duties under the Contract. The role will co-ordinate the Client Site Representatives and ensure that all site related information is coordinated between the supporting functions within the project. Details: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Onshore General Site Manager is to act as the onsite Client Representative during the site initial designs, constructability assessments and planning and later construction and handover of the works. The role will be required to have experience in site management of HV substation construction, including technical knowledge of civil engineering, HV Mechanical & Electrical Installations, testing & commissioning of HV systems and cables. All onshore substation site management activities with respect to the onshore works including, Health, Safety, Environment, Security, Maintenance pre-Handover. The role is positioned as an independent, on-site consultant function with responsibility for ensuring that all SCADA commissioning activities are executed safely, in compliance with applicable standards, and in alignment with the overall project schedule. The consultant will act as the central coordination point for SCADA commissioning, working across contractors, engineering teams, and commissioning management to ensure seamless execution. The scope includes Substation Control Systems, WTG SCADA and grid compliance, communication networks, metering systems, and associated auxiliary systems. The role requires both technical depth and the ability to operate effectively in a complex, multi-stakeholder EPC environment. A key part of the assignment is to establish and maintain full control over commissioning activities. This includes driving the preparation and execution of FAT, SAT, and SIT, ensuring that all testing is properly conducted, documented, and approved. Electrical Manager  We are looking for an Electrical Manager to join a major data centre project in Belgium. Responsibilities of the role:<ul><li>Establish performance and delivery criteria, ensuring client requirements are met</li><li>Liaise with the client and build a strong working relationship to support future project opportunities</li><li>Develop and administer quality control provisions; support project cost estimating and value engineering where appropriate</li><li>Liaise with the client on KPI development and implementation</li><li>Champion site safety implementation and participate in Safety Leadership Teams</li><li>Promote a strong quality culture on site and implement “Right First Time” practices</li><li>Track and report progress at weekly client update meetings</li><li>Liaise with the commercial team to ensure contracts, purchase orders, payment certificates, and change orders are issued in accordance with company policies</li><li>Manage the on-site project team and coordinate internal resources, including travel logistics</li><li>Plan all resources including labour, materials, and subcontractors</li><li>Lead and drive a large team to meet project requirements and deadlines</li><li>Produce and maintain installed drawings and O&M manuals</li><li>Ensure timely processing of requisitions, purchase orders, and delivery to site</li><li>Develop a detailed, constructible programme with the project planner</li><li>Maintain strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems including UPS, STS, EPMS, BMS, generators, busbar systems, and PDUs</li><li>Understand the requirements of working in a live environment and ensure continuity of client operations during construction</li><li>Liaise with the client regarding permits for all works in live environments and contribute to RAMS development</li><li>Ensure compliance with COHE policies and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors regarding LOTO procedures</li><li>Ensure adherence to all safety and quality standards</li><li>Carry out all other duties associated with the role</li></ul>Criteria and Qualifications:<ul><li>Trade qualification and/or relevant third-level qualification</li><li>5–10 years’ experience in project management</li><li>Proven experience coordinating and managing large installation projects</li><li>Experience dealing with industrial relations issues</li><li>Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices</li><li>Experience in design and build environments</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems</li><li>Excellent IT skills</li><li>Strong communication skills</li><li>Ability to work to strict deadlines</li><li>Ability to lead and deliver large-scale projects</li></ul>
