Electrical Manager 

We are looking for an Electrical Manager to join a major data centre project in Belgium.

Responsibilities of the role:
  • Establish performance and delivery criteria, ensuring client requirements are met
  • Liaise with the client and build a strong working relationship to support future project opportunities
  • Develop and administer quality control provisions; support project cost estimating and value engineering where appropriate
  • Liaise with the client on KPI development and implementation
  • Champion site safety implementation and participate in Safety Leadership Teams
  • Promote a strong quality culture on site and implement “Right First Time” practices
  • Track and report progress at weekly client update meetings
  • Liaise with the commercial team to ensure contracts, purchase orders, payment certificates, and change orders are issued in accordance with company policies
  • Manage the on-site project team and coordinate internal resources, including travel logistics
  • Plan all resources including labour, materials, and subcontractors
  • Lead and drive a large team to meet project requirements and deadlines
  • Produce and maintain installed drawings and O&M manuals
  • Ensure timely processing of requisitions, purchase orders, and delivery to site
  • Develop a detailed, constructible programme with the project planner
  • Maintain strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems including UPS, STS, EPMS, BMS, generators, busbar systems, and PDUs
  • Understand the requirements of working in a live environment and ensure continuity of client operations during construction
  • Liaise with the client regarding permits for all works in live environments and contribute to RAMS development
  • Ensure compliance with COHE policies and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors regarding LOTO procedures
  • Ensure adherence to all safety and quality standards
  • Carry out all other duties associated with the role
Criteria and Qualifications:
  • Trade qualification and/or relevant third-level qualification
  • 5–10 years’ experience in project management
  • Proven experience coordinating and managing large installation projects
  • Experience dealing with industrial relations issues
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices
  • Experience in design and build environments
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Ability to lead and deliver large-scale projects
