Supports the HVDC Package Manager through the construction phase, and manages all aspects of the Client’s site duties under the Contract. The role will co-ordinate the Client Site Representatives and ensure that all site related information is coordinated between the supporting functions within the project. Details: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Onshore General Site Manager is to act as the onsite Client Representative during the site initial designs, constructability assessments and planning and later construction and handover of the works. The role will be required to have experience in site management of HV substation construction, including technical knowledge of civil engineering, HV Mechanical & Electrical Installations, testing & commissioning of HV systems and cables. All onshore substation site management activities with respect to the onshore works including, Health, Safety, Environment, Security, Maintenance pre-Handover. The role is positioned as an independent, on-site consultant function with responsibility for ensuring that all SCADA commissioning activities are executed safely, in compliance with applicable standards, and in alignment with the overall project schedule. The consultant will act as the central coordination point for SCADA commissioning, working across contractors, engineering teams, and commissioning management to ensure seamless execution. The scope includes Substation Control Systems, WTG SCADA and grid compliance, communication networks, metering systems, and associated auxiliary systems. The role requires both technical depth and the ability to operate effectively in a complex, multi-stakeholder EPC environment. A key part of the assignment is to establish and maintain full control over commissioning activities. This includes driving the preparation and execution of FAT, SAT, and SIT, ensuring that all testing is properly conducted, documented, and approved. Electrical QA Inspector Location: Mons, Belgium We are seeking an Electrical QA Inspector to support the delivery of high-quality electrical fit-out works on a fast-paced, technically demanding project. This role is suited to someone detail-focused, highly organised, and confident in ensuring full compliance with project specifications and quality standards from installation through to handover. Key Responsibilities We are seeking an Electrical QA Inspector who will: <ul><li>Implement and maintain project quality systems in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.</li><li>Develop and maintain quality plans, procedures, manuals, and QA documentation.</li><li>Ensure client quality requirements are correctly submitted, approved, and implemented within agreed timelines.</li><li>Carry out site inspections, audits, and continuous quality checks on electrical installations.</li><li>Verify works including containment, cabling, and terminations in line with inspection and test plans.</li><li>Attend and coordinate inspections, benchmarking, and walkdowns with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.</li><li>Maintain accurate QA records, including “Right First Time” documentation and inspection reports.</li><li>Ensure all certification and documentation is complete prior to system and area handover.</li><li>Support document control, ensuring records are updated in line with ISO requirements and project changes.</li><li>Report QA performance and issues directly to the Project Manager.</li><li>Attend weekly site meetings and support coordination with project teams and subcontractors.</li><li>Ensure QA/QC procedures are consistently applied across all site activities.</li><li>Support system and area handover to the client in line with project requirements.</li><li>Carry out audits and provide recommendations to improve quality performance.</li><li>Perform any other duties required to support project delivery.</li></ul>Requirements We are seeking candidates with: <ul><li>A relevant electrical qualification (third level or professional).</li><li>3 years’ experience in QA inspections on large-scale construction projects.</li><li>Experience with site walkdowns and inspection & test plans.</li><li>Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures and documentation control.</li><li>Excellent communication and reporting skills.</li><li>Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.</li></ul>
