Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Technician to join our onshore wind project team in Belgium. The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing, executing, and commissioning electrical works with a strong focus on Enercon grid connection systems. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant connection of wind turbines to the grid.

- Electrical Installation & Commissioning
- Oversee and execute electrical installation, testing, and commissioning of wind turbines, switchgear, transformers, and grid connection equipment.
- Lead the integration of Enercon grid connection systems in compliance with manufacturer specifications and Belgian grid codes.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and control system faults related to Enercon turbines and grid interface equipment.
- Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and subcontractors.
- Compliance & Quality Control
- Ensure all electrical works adhere to Belgian regulations, health & safety standards, and project quality requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including test reports, as-built drawings, and commissioning records.
- Coordination & Communication
- Collaborate with project engineers, grid operators, and Enercon representatives to achieve timely grid connection approvals.
- Act as the primary site point of contact for all Enercon-related grid connection activities.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical installation, commissioning, and maintenance of wind turbines.
- Proven track record with Enercon grid connection systems and related commissioning processes.
