Job Title: Field Service Engineer – Heavy-Duty Gas Turbines
Location: Multiple Sites / Travel-Based

EarthStream Global are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to support the installation and commissioning of heavy-duty gas turbines at various project sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in turbomachinery and demonstrated experience working with OEMs such as GE, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or similar. This role involves hands-on technical support, troubleshooting, quality assurance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support the installation, assembly, alignment, and commissioning of heavy-duty gas turbines and associated systems (auxiliaries, controls, etc.).
  • Conduct pre-commissioning checks, system tests, and operational readiness assessments.
  • Provide on-site troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve mechanical, electrical, or controls issues during installation and start-up phases.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and site protocols.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including daily progress reports, punch lists, and technical records.
  • Support end-user training and handover documentation as required.
  • Travel extensively to domestic and international project sites.
Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent technical field.
  • 5 years of experience working with gas turbines, with a focus on installation and commissioning.
  • Direct experience collaborating with major OEMs (e.g., GE, Siemens, MHPS).
  • Strong knowledge of turbine mechanics, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and OEM manuals.
  • Proven track record of working in field environments under pressure and meeting project deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work in challenging environments
