We are seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to oversee health, safety, and environmental aspects during the construction phase of an energy storage project in Rauma, Finland. The client is a France-based leader in the design, manufacturing, and installation of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) operating across multiple countries.

About the role:
We are seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to oversee health, safety, and environmental aspects during the construction phase of an energy storage project in Rauma, Finland. The client is a France-based leader in the design, manufacturing, and installation of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) operating across multiple countries.
As the on-site HSE focal point, you will:
- Monitor all HSE compliance and performance at the site.
- Coordinate actions between the Rauma site and the client’s team in France.
- Work closely with QA/QC and Inspection plans as defined by the client.
- Ensure full compliance with Finnish regulations and working rules.
- Report deviations and define corrective action plans in collaboration with the client.
- Strong background in HSE within construction or industrial projects.
- Solid knowledge of Finnish health & safety regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Finnish and English.
- Strong coordination and reporting skills.
