A leading European EPC business who are currently involved with complex Data Centre projects across the continent, are currently looking for an SAP / Energy Marshall to join one of their projects in France.
The SAP will be responsible for ensuring the safe execution of electrical works, managing permits and switching operations, and supporting the overall commissioning and energisation processes on fast-paced, technically complex data centre builds.
Key Responsibilities:
A leading European EPC business who are currently involved with complex Data Centre projects across the continent, are currently looking for an SAP / Energy Marshall to join one of their projects in France.
The SAP will be responsible for ensuring the safe execution of electrical works, managing permits and switching operations, and supporting the overall commissioning and energisation processes on fast-paced, technically complex data centre builds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the Senior Authorised Person for high and low voltage systems up to 33kV.
- Prepare and issue Permits to Work and Safety Documents in accordance with electrical safety rules.
- Manage the switching, isolation, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
- Work closely with design engineers, project managers, and commissioning teams to deliver safe and reliable power infrastructure.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.
- Review and approve electrical testing and commissioning procedures.
- Recognised electrical engineering qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree) or equivalent.
- HV/LV Authorisation with a strong understanding of electrical safety rules.
- Minimum 5–10 years' experience in an AP/SAP/Energy Marshall role on large-scale electrical projects.
- Experience with power systems up to 11kV, 33kV or higher, including UPS, switchgear, generators, and transformers.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
